Thinking about Lap-band-Read This First!

In today’s world, being anything less than “perfect” means that you are less than perfect.

Does that sound harsh? Perhaps, but none the less true!! Even with such stars as Tara Banks telling people that it is what is inside, that is not what the average person on the block thinks.

Have you ever gone outside to swim and everyone stops to look at you??

I have. It is so painful, but I overlook the stares and try to have as much fun as possible.

In stores, I face the young children giggles and laughter as I walk down isles. Am I self conscious? Very much so.

Here is the crazy part! While I may look like I spend all day eating Big Macs and doughnuts, my life is very far removed from being a couch potato!!

I drink a coke a couple of times a month. I don’t drink or smoke. I have over five serving of fruits and veggies a day. I have not eaten chip of any kind for over two months. The last time I had chocolate was in March! I chew sugar free gum because I have a bridge. I drink about six glasses of water a day along with about two glasses of green tea.

Okay so it must be I am inactive. Wrong!!

I ride horses, bike, walk the two miles to the convince store, swim, run after two young girls and keep up with one teen. I clean my house three days out of seven. I do obedience with my dogs.

So is it any wonder that I have all but decided on Lap-band. What is stopping me?? Fear.

This is something huge and while I have vetted the doctor I have chosen, I am still scared.

Why?? Well I can’t call my nurse whenever just because I am afraid. Would you like a call from a silly person in the middle of your busy day?? Besides, I have not actually set the appointment. All I have done is prepare the finances for the surgery, and my family for the change. Who would I call?

First off, let me begin by stating up front that I am a Xocai Distributor. I make money when someone either A) buys Xocai chocolate from my website or B) becomes a distributor in my group buys chocolate and promotes it to others. Why I say this? I say this because it’s pretty obvious that when a product is heavily touted as the greatest thing since sliced bread and is sold through distributors, it’s probably because the writer or reviewer is in fact a distributor. This is obvious.

However, what really errks me is when someone writes an article and promotes that article using hot keywords like SCAM or RIPOFF simply to catch an eye and then bash that product only to finish by stating something like “to learn about a better networking marketing business click here” or “the dark chocolate I recommend could be found by clicking here.” Some might consider this method of marketing ingenious (piggy backing on a competitors product that’s more recognized than the junk you’re selling just to catch a readers eye), I call it unscrupulous.

Now with all that being said, let’s get down to what this article is all about; Xocai Chocolate.

Many articles have been written about Xocai chocolate, of which some are positive and some negative. These articles can be easily found by going to your favorite search engine and typing in the words Xocai chocolate. For those that take a negative stance on this product many tend to focus on the fact that Xocai is claimed to be a sugar free chocolate. One article in particular claims this as fact, and I quote “the MXI website claims that it is sugar-free on the homepage of their website, only to contradict that statement further down the page by saying it is low in sugar.”

I went to the official MXI Xocai site to find this claim. The MXI website homepage actually does not have any information about any of their products, whether it be about sugar content or ingredients on the homepage. What they do have is a special frequently asked questions section that addresses this specific question and clearly answers it. The FAQ question that is listed on that page is: “I have received products that state “Sugar” in the ingredient labels. Have we switched to lower quality refined sugar?” The MXI answer is: “MXI has not changed the type of sweetener used in Xoçai™ products. However, due to recent changes in FDA regulations, our labeling has been adjusted. FDA regulations state, sugar cane products with common or usual names (such as raw cane juice crystals) must be labeled as “sugar”. Although not all “sugars” are created equal, the use of common names may fail to reveal the basic nature of the food and its characterizing properties.”

The second misleading fact about Xocai chocolate often revolves around the parent company, MXI. There are many “expert”articles that have been written that portray this company as the following, and I quote “The Xocai range (of products) is obtainable from a US-based multi level marketing outfit called MXI Corp.” This statement makes it seem that MXI corp. (the outfit) is nothing more than a conglomerate of many different multilevel marketing ventures. What’s interesting is that prior to launching Xocai products and being distributed via network marketing the owners of MXI owned Simply Delight. Simply Delight was a retail distributor of low-carb high-protein products (during the Atkins Diet craze) that distributed their products to retailers from Wal-Mart to Rite Aid.

The FACT is that there are far more positively written articles about Xocai chocolate then there are negative ones. In addition to this, most of these articles are written by doctors who actually conducted laboratory tests and have seen firsthand the results and medical benefits from those that regularly use these products. There’s also many who have nothing to do with MXI or the business of Xocai that have written very positive articles.

The greatest testament as to whether or not a product is for real or a scam is to try it yourself. If you feel better have more energy and notice a previous a health condition not bothering you as much, then you know it’s for real. No article, no matter how convincing or well written it is can do that for you.
