Everybody young and old needs a little play time. It just so happens that parents of young children who need the escape and the stress-relieving benefits of some one-on-one time with their partner may not be able to schedule in as much as we would like.
Aside from finding some privacy, time and the energy after caring for kids – many parents find our intimate interludes few and far between. But I am here to tell you that with a little creativity, some great tips, and a door lock (and a knock first policy) there is hope and lots of it.
My husband and I have found it’s not only what happens behind closed doors that excite us – it’s the lead up to it. Or in other words, it’s the foreplay that happens long before we reach the bedroom that makes all the difference.
Thanks to best selling author Michael Webb and his book 500 Lovemaking Tips & Secrets we’ve found great inspiration and some unique ways to jazz up our love making.
For some kid type fun that leads to passionate play, why not send your partner on a scavenger hunt to locate some lovemaking essentials? Give him a few clues and send him on a hunt to find things like lingerie,’for his eyes only’ photos, feathers, massage oil and the like. Wrap up the hunt with the final clue leading to you or a note outlining the time and location of your secret rendezvous.
Communication is a relationship area most of us want to enhance. If you’re interested in improving both your communication and your sexual encounters, try sensual journaling. Upon conclusion of a really good lovemaking session, secretly write about the experience in great detail. The next time you’re looking for a unique way to stimulate your partner, share the story via telephone, letter or email and give him something to look forward too.
Michael Webb, “The World’s Most Romantic Guy” also offers up the following tips in his book 500 Lovemaking Tips & Secrets:
*Consider hiding a dab of honey somewhere on your body and see if your mate can find it with his or her tongue.
*Eat in and serve an entire meal off your body. Start with the appetizer on your chest, the main course on your abs and the dessert (well, wherever you want). Just don’t forget the whipped cream.
*If you enjoy feeding each other chocolate dipped strawberries, you’ll love the exciting properties of other fruits as well. Consider freezing grapes and then trailing them all over each other bodies.
*Here’s a great tip for the nights when the kids are off visiting their grandparents or for any night if you have a TV in your bedroom. Get naked and start watching a favorite TV program, then when the show goes to a commercial start making out. As soon as the program starts again – stop. There’s nothing like prolonging a good thing. Just consider the passionate build-up. Chances are good if you can hold off – you’ll have one of the most electrifying experiences ever.
Michael’s book is filled with 500 plus creative and fun ways to take your lovemaking to a whole new level. He shows you how to increase passion and intimacy through great sex. His book covers numerous wild and juicy ideas that will excite and stimulate you, none of which are immoral, degrading, or perverted.
Two of my favorite tips come from something found in your child’s toy box that is known to liven up the act and a wonderful way to stimulate a partner who is interested but is a little on the tired side after a long day at work (or with the kids).
